BKM Houston Tamil School was started in 2012 at Durgabhari Temple, and then moved to Shiv Sakthi Mandir in 2015. Due to increase in the student's strength, we moved to St. Luke United Methodist Church(located at Westheimer Rd. and Edloe St.) in 2020.

The school has been running successfully for the past 8 years. We follow ITA Syllabus (formerly CTA) and have very dedicated teachers and volunteers. At present, we have 7 Grade levels of classes. We focus on speaking Tamil confidently along with reading and writing per the academic syllabus.

Kids love our fun filled classes and get play time and snack time as well. We encourage our students to participate in Tamil school competition, cultural Events, and other Tamil related Enrichment activities.
